We already know how to transfer videos/media from iPhone to Computer/PC but do you know how to transfer it from your Computer/PC to iPhone? And that too, wirelessly? If not, you are in the correct place. Gone are the days of processes involving USB cables! Everything is wireless now. Here, in this post, i will explain step by step how we can transfer Videos/Audios from iPhone to Computer/PC and from Computer/PC to iPhone easily and without using any cables. Often we do face issues transferring photos and videos from our iPhone to PC which can be due to USB fault or any other issues in connectivity.
Firstly on your iPhone, download “VLC for Mobile” app from the Appstore.

Now back to your gallery, select the videos you want to transfer to your computer/PC and tap on the share icon. From the row of options, select “Save to Files”. Then choose VLC folder and click on “Add”.

Now open the VLC app on your iPhone. You will be able to see the video/videos that you had selected from the gallery. Make sure you are connected to a WiFi network. Now, go to the Network tab on the app and toggle ON the “Sharing via WiFi” option. You will be able to see two URLs, use any one of the URLs on your Computer browser.

Make sure your Computer/PC is connected to the same WiFi connection for the transfer to happen. Enter any of the two URLs in your Computer browser and hit enter. You will be able to see the files that are present in the VLC app of your iPhone.

Simply click on the video to transfer it from iPhone to PC. Note, this does not consume the internet. The download is occurring using WiFi connection only. So, this is a WiFi transfer.

So, you have successfully transferred a video from your iPhone to your Computer/PC/Laptop.
Now, how can we transfer from Computer to iPhone? – Easier !
Just drag and drop the media you want to transfer to your iPhone and that’s it.

Open the VLC app on your iPhone and you will get the media you just transferred from your Computer. Select the video and click on the share button present at the bottom of the screen. Click on “Save to Files” to add it to your iPhone gallery.

If it asks to allow access to Photos, press OK and it will get successfully saved to your iPhone Camera Roll. Enjoy!

And that is how we can transfer Videos/Media from iPhone to Computer and from Computer to iPhone without using a USB cable and without using the internet.
